NEW YEAR, NEW EXPERIENCES AT HYATT REGENCY TRINIDAD
Premier Caribbean Meetings and Conference Hotel Spices it up for 2011

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad (January 19, 2011) – It's not all work and no play in 2011, as Hyatt Regency Trinidad is starting the new year with some new additions that both business and leisure travelers will enjoy.  As the hotel gears up for the busy Carnival season and beyond, guests will find enticing additions to the culinary and spa scene. Hyatt Trinidad will also host its own Carnival fete – LIME - that has people talking about the hotel as the place to be for 2011.

Intraceuticals from Spa Esencia – Hyatt Regency Trinidad's Spa Esencia has launched a new oxygen-based treatment line called Intraceuticals.   Referred to as the "Fountain of Youth" and popular with celebrities, this innovative skin care line was created in Australia and promises to help stop premature signs of aging by preventing skin dehydration.  Keeping skin moisturized by using therapeutic oxygen has proven effective in stopping signs of aging before they start, while giving the skin a youthful and healthy glow.  The spa will offer products from the Rejuvenate, Opulence, and Atoxelene lines, all designed to improve skin conditions with the natural creation of collagen and elastin to visibly smooth lines and wrinkles.  Spa appointments can be booked in advance online at www.spaescencia.com.

LIME – The hotel will host its first-ever Carnival fete called LIME on Wednesday, March 2, 2011.  This all-inclusive 'LIME' will feature exciting island cuisine prepared by expert chefs to tease and satisfy every palate with a premium bar, featuring mixed, frozen and novelty drinks.  Visitors and locals alike can party early (the party starts at 4pm) to late night to the music of David Rudder and Charlie's Roots, Kes the Band featuring Nadia Batson and Ravi B and Karma. Hyatt Regency Trinidad will also feature its very own makeup artist, Kirk Thomas, who will be offering mini-makeup applications for Carnival to guests in the hotel's lobby on March 3 and 4. Tickets for LIME are on sale now and will be available only online at www.ultimatelime.com. For more information on LIME call 868-623-2222.

Culinary Delights – From the pool bar to the fine dining restaurant, Hyatt Regency Trinidad makes every restaurant and lounge a unique culinary experience, keeping guests and locals alike coming back for more.  The sushi and pool bar menus have been refreshed for the New Year and include highlights such as the Manzanilla cocktail featuring coconut cream and Malibu coconut rum and the new Trinidad Roll with shrimp, tuna, spring onion, and Japanese mayo for the ultimate sushi lover's experience. The Infinity Pool Bar offers light poolside dining, such as the Jerk Spiced Chicken Salad with mixed greens and mango dressing, along with tropical cocktails that are the perfect accessory to the island backdrop.  The Waterfront Restaurant, offering stunning gulf views and brilliant Caribbean cuisine, gives a whole new meaning to tropical dining, with its Curry Spiced Duck Breast with cumin spiced mashed potatoes and homemade chutney.

Hyatt Regency Trinidad is gearing up for Carnival, the annual cultural celebration in early March, so check the website – www.trinidad.hyatt.com – for spa specials and rates.
