  Pioneer in Mexican tourism adds new talent and tools in preparation for expansion

Cancun, Mexico – January 8, 2014 – Mark Carney, OBE, chief sales and marketing officer for Royal Resorts®, is proud to announce the appointment of another industry veteran, Sean White, to its team in Cancun, Mexico. As general sales director, White will lead sales teams for Royal Resorts and the highly anticipated Grand Residences Riviera Cancun, the company's first deluxe all-suite resort in Riviera Cancun, Mexico. White joins industry experts Bill Caswell as chief sales officer and Simon Crawford-Welch as chief marketing officer, on the new executive team. White's appointment also coincides with Royal Resorts' introduction of new, cutting-edge technology to enhance sales efforts.

Executive Spotlight:  General Sales Director Sean White
With 13 years of experience within the timesharing industry, White is optimally positioned to successfully manage all sales teams for Vacation Ownership and Grand Residences. Prior to joining the Royal Resorts team, White spent eight years as sales director for Shell Vacations Club in Hawaii. Before moving to Hawaii 27 years ago, White served in the United States Army. Originally from Venice Beach, California, he loves the ocean and corresponding lifestyle. "Sean is one of the most compelling, motivational sales leaders in our industry today," said Caswell. "Sean's keen understanding of sales psychology, his empathy for our teams and his ability to apply new technology to successful sales practices will lead us far into the future."

Royal Resorts Introduces Sales Program Generator Systems
Royal Resorts is also pleased to announce that it has introduced cutting-edge sales technology to its staff, members and consumers. The sales program, built by Generator Systems, Ltd., of Northampton, U.K., recreates the successful sales path the Royal Resorts team uses today, placing it on a tablet to create an immersive and captivating sales environment for staff and guests.

"Generator allows us to track our sales process and performance in real time," said Carney. "Using this technology, we can see when our agents produce sales and how, allowing us to train all agents to follow a similar route and, in turn, create more new sales." "Using Generator helps us to apply science to a process that has always been too dependent upon human trial and error," added Caswell. "When Generator helps us identify the proper sales path, not only do we produce more sales but also we reduce agent turnover because they can now see clearly where a step was missed."
